Boulder retaining walls and block retaining walls that hold a slope, terrace a bed or level out a yard. Every boulder is set with our own machines.
Boulder walls and block walls that hold the hill.
Most of the walls we build are boulder walls: big stone set by machine, stacked and locked so they hold the slope and look like they have been there for years. Slab steps can run right up through them.
We also build block retaining walls for a cleaner, straighter line along a drive, patio or lawn, and short walls to square up a sloped bed. Planting and mulch go in last so the wall looks finished the day we leave.

Boulder wall or block wall?
Boulder walls look natural and suit slopes and wooded lots. Block walls give a straighter, cleaner line. Landon will recommend one when he sees the site.
Can steps go through the wall?
Yes. Slab stone steps are often built right into a boulder wall.
Do you do the planting too?
Yes. We plant and mulch around the wall so it is finished when we leave.
